I have been to see Jasmin Vardimon's Yesterday this evening, and whilst I'm not entirely sure how to review it, I loved every minute of it - powerful, political, personal, technically impressive both from a dance and technology point of view, confrontational, witty, creative, playful and challenging.Quite what the precise difference between physical theatre and dance theatre is I can't say with any certainty (although I am evolving an idea with experience) but I found this a thoroughly satisfying piece of work, packed with memorable moments and highlights.
I can't wait to see what she does next and wish I hadn't missed the last ten years of her remarkable vision.
